First international online database of European typographic and language institutions. This research platform was based for collecting information about typographic rules in each European language.

This project was created at UMPRUM in Prague based on an academic grant, aiming to create a database of educational platforms, institutes or projects related to the typographic and orthographic rules of European languages. This database is the prerequisite of the forthcoming large-scale European Typographic Proofreader project (typofix.org). As several useful and relevant references were collected, the team decided to publish the data in a form that would allow its further use by all professionals dealing with European typographic rules and traditions.
